Tape to Digital Service in Suffolk
Old media formats don’t last forever. Tapes can deteriorate, DVDs can become unreadable and film can fade over time. We professionally convert a wide range of formats into modern digital files that are easy to watch on TVs, computers, phones and tablets.
The Process
Our tape to digital service in Suffolk covers a wide range of older video formats, allowing you to bring together your memories from different eras and devices. We can convert VHS and VHS-C tapes, MiniDV, Hi8, Video8 and Digital8 tapes, as well as a variety of camcorder formats.
We also provide DVD to digital conversion, helping you preserve recordings that may otherwise become difficult to access as DVD players and optical drives become less common. For customers with older cine film, we can also arrange specialist transfers of 8mm and Super 8 film, helping to preserve those early family memories in a modern digital format.
If you have an unusual or older media format that is not listed above, please get in touch. We are always happy to discuss your requirements and see whether we can help with other legacy media formats.

Your Tapes Returned
We understand that the original tapes, discs and film you bring to us can be just as important as the digital files themselves. Your original media is handled carefully throughout the process and is returned to you once your conversion is complete.
If you no longer want to keep your original tapes or discs, we can also offer the option of selling them to us in exchange for money off your digitalisation. This can be a useful way to reduce the cost of your transfer while giving your old physical media a new purpose.
